Who's afraid of the living dead? The stories of vampires, ghosts, of mummies and more recently of zombies have been a major ingredient of cinema, and of all forms of mass culture (comics, videogames, popular novels, TV series) all along the Twentieth Century and into the new millennium. The exhibit curated by Peppino Ortoleva and the book edited by Giulia Carluccio and Peppino Ortoleva guide us in a journey in the company of an enduring mythology and its protagonists, from the Mummy to the G. A. Romero's zombies, from Nosferatu to Twilight.
