Over twenty years. This is how long the Torino GLBT Film Festival has been involved in studying films that explore, represent and construct the queer imagery. The National Cinema Museum supports this undertaking by helping to manage and organize the festival, which has the great merit of having introduced Italy to the early works of important directors like François Ozon, Gus Van Sant, Derek Jarman and Alain Guiraudie.
Since 1986, the festival has grown year after year, becoming a window that is always open onto the glbt community and an opportunity to dialog with the greater public.
