The Archeology of Cinema
This tour introduces visitors to the history of the performances and the innovations that marked the fundamental stages of the birth of cinema: the shadow theatre, optics, optical boxes, stereoscopies, magic lanterns, the reproduction of motion, chronophotography and cinematography.

The Archeology of Cinema: Optics
The visit lets students experiment with and discover the phenomenon of the propagation of light; the laws of dioptrics and catoptrics; the physiological process of sight, which is explained starting with the model of the camera obscura. New interactive exhibits illustrate the effects of luminous rays concentrated by lenses and images reflected in various types of mirrors.

The Movie Factor
This tour traces the various phases involved in making a movie by means of famous film clips, production documents, props, photographs and sketches, everything that precedes the finished film and the mechanisms of a productive machine that becomes a "performance machine".

Temple Hall
The heart of the Museum is the spectacular Temple Hall, which is surrounded by thirteen chapels dedicated to the cult of films with fascinating sets that illustrate some of the most important themes of the seventh art: Animated Films, Cinema of the Absurd, Horror and Fantasy, Mirror Films, Westerns, Musicals, Science Fiction, True and False, Experimental Cinema, Love and Death, Big Bang, Cabiria, Torino City of Films.

The Poster Gallery
The tour presents the most important films and directors in film history through an exhibit of posters, as it illustrates the evolution of figurative trends, graphics and publicity poster art.

The Mole Antonelliana
This guided tour offers an in-depth view of the historical building that hosts the Museum: Antonelli, the building’s architect; the history of the project; its construction and later projects of conservation and restoration. The tour begins in the exhibition area about the Mole Antonelliana with a tactile exhibit.
